Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made from https://elvarique.co.uk (“Site”), operated by ALI & FARHAD LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
We aim to make returns and refunds straightforward, fair and transparent. This policy is intended to operate in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under applicable UK law.
When you purchase goods online, you generally have the following rights:
-
14-day cancellation period: You can cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
-
Faulty or misdescribed goods: You may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or another appropriate remedy under UK consumer law.
-
Return costs: Depending on the reason for the return, we may cover the return costs or you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, as explained below.
Some legal exceptions apply, including certain personalised goods and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
2.1 Your 14-Day Cancellation Right
If you change your mind about an eligible online purchase, you generally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel your order.
After notifying us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling within this statutory period.
You may handle goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you might inspect them in a shop. However, we may be entitled to make a lawful deduction if the value of the goods has diminished because they were handled beyond what was necessary for such inspection.
2.2 Our 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, we aim to offer a 30-day return period for eligible change-of-mind returns.
For returns requested after the statutory cancellation period has expired, items must generally be:
-
Unused, unworn and in their original condition.
-
Returned with their original packaging, accessories and labels, where applicable.
-
Accompanied by your order number or other proof of purchase.
Our additional 30-day return policy does not replace or restrict your statutory cancellation rights.
If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, the separate provisions in Section 3 apply.
2.3 Return Shipping Costs
For a change-of-mind return, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided we informed you of this responsibility before you placed your order, as required by applicable law.
We will provide the relevant return instructions and any available information about the return method and expected cost.
We do not impose a blanket handling, processing or restocking fee on every return. Any deduction must be lawful and applicable to the circumstances of your return.
Where we are responsible for the return, including where required by law for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, you will not be required to bear the applicable return costs.
3. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Items
We want every order to arrive in the condition described on our Site.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the problem.
-
Photographs or videos, where reasonably helpful to explain the issue.
You can contact us using the details provided in Section 10.
We will assess the issue and explain the available next steps. Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to:
-
A refund.
-
A repair.
-
A replacement.
-
Another remedy available under applicable consumer law.
For goods rejected under your statutory rights, we will cover the reasonable return costs where required by law.
We will not require you to report a fault within 48 hours as a condition of exercising your statutory rights. However, contacting us promptly can help us investigate and resolve the issue more quickly.
Refunds for faulty goods will include delivery charges where required by law.
4. Items That May Be Excluded from Returns
Certain items may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation or return rights where a specific legal exception applies.
Examples include:
-
Personalised or customised products: Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, where the statutory exception applies.
-
Sealed hygiene-sensitive products: Goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery, where the statutory exception applies.
-
Other legally exempt goods: Products that fall within another applicable statutory exception.
These exclusions apply only where permitted by law.
An item is not automatically excluded from a return simply because its packaging has been opened. The circumstances and the applicable legal requirements will determine whether an exception applies.
Nothing in this section limits your rights concerning faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
5. How to Request a Return
To request a return or refund, please follow these steps:
-
Contact us using our customer support email or WhatsApp details listed in Section 10.
-
Provide your order number and explain whether you are requesting a cancellation, change-of-mind return or resolution for a faulty item.
-
We will review your request and provide the appropriate return instructions.
-
Where a return is required, send the goods using the agreed return method and retain your proof of postage or tracking information.
Please contact us before sending goods to a return address so we can provide the correct instructions.
We will not use a lack of prior authorisation to remove any statutory rights you have under applicable law.
6. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch
If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation.
We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order before dispatch, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment or shipping has progressed.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may still be able to exercise your statutory cancellation rights. Please contact us for instructions on how to proceed.
Any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable law and this policy.
7. Refund Processing
Once a return has been received, or the applicable cancellation requirements have otherwise been satisfied, we will assess the request and confirm the next steps.
For statutory cancellations, we will issue any required refund without undue delay and within the legal time limit. For returned goods, this is generally no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or, where applicable, you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Where required by law, refunds will include the cost of standard delivery. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we may only be required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
We will not charge a fee simply for processing a refund.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to make the refunded funds available in your account.
Return Costs and Refund Deductions
For eligible change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for the direct return postage cost where this was disclosed before purchase and is permitted by law.
Any lawful deduction for diminished value must reflect the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
We will not deduct an arbitrary or undisclosed return fee from a refund.
8. Exchanges
We do not currently guarantee direct exchanges.
If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us to check availability. Depending on the circumstances, you may return the original item under the applicable return terms and place a separate order for the replacement.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have if the original goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you believe a refund is overdue or has not appeared in your account, please:
-
Check your payment account and recent transactions.
-
Contact your bank or payment provider to ask whether the refund is pending.
-
Contact our customer support team with your order number if the refund still cannot be located.
We will review the status of the refund and provide any available information to help resolve the issue.
